Default 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee rear end

will the rearend out of a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee fit in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0?

Also, the V8 jeeps have a D44a in them. Your 4.0 has a D35. The V8 axle can be used in a 4.0 jeep, but you have to either change the differential front yoke or build a driveshaft.

All zj have a 35 in the rear even if you have a v8.
