1996 Jeep GC Laredo Vacuum line
First off I am a female so I am not very good with terminology, but can change my oil :-) I have researched a problem with my ac blowing on defrost only and found the vacuum line to be the problem. So i started looking and found this line broken or something....but I have no clue as to how to find out where or what it attaches to....I looked all around for another piece can anyone give me some easy ways to fix or find the problem :-) Thank you in advance

Welcome to CF!
In that general area, there is a T connection. The vacuum supply hose splits and goes into the dash to supply the heater/AC and the other line goes to a vacuum reservoir under the battery. The reservoir is there to close the heater doors after the engine shuts off. It's generally a round black ball the size of a softball. The supply line comes off the intake manifold with a check valve somewhere in the line. The cruise control supply is there somewhere also.
