Hi! New to Cherokeeforum and first time post!
I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee. It's been doing great up to a couple days ago. I came out to a dead battery. I jumped it and started troubleshooting. The Information center was flashing a tail light problem and the Information Center would not shut down when I turned off the ignition and removed the key. I figured that was what was draining the battery. I replaced all tail light bulbs, 3rd brake light bulbs, and the license plate bulbs. I also took the battery in and had it tested which showed it was fine. When I reconnected the battery, everything seemed fine. It started well and the tail light warning was gone. I thought I was good to go. I drove around the block, and parked it and shut it down. As soon as I did a clicking noise started under the hood. I checked it and found it is the ABS System relay in the fuse box. Also, the Information center came back on and would not shut down like before. I disconnected the battery so it wouldn't drain down. Anyone seen anything like this before? Thanks in advance for your help!
