My auto dimming mirror does not work. I understand that 2 of the wires can have power on them. One all the time and the other only when in reverse. Both of my wires of the 3 are hot.
Does 12 volts shut the dimming function off when in reverse?
My reverse lights are only on during reverse.
Is there a switch on the tranny that has 2 outputs? One to the reverse lights and the other to the mirror? What should I be looking for to disable the one voltage to enable the mirror most of the time? tnx.
