Good day,

I need your advice and help, my ZJ with a 4ltr inline 6cyl had a stronk knock so I needed to do somethin.
A friend had a 4ltr block witch I could take so I took the engine out exchanged the lower block and installed.
now we have crank action but no spark. I have a 5 volt refference all fuses are good.

I did find out that the (new) block is not the same as the old!! The old engine has 2 fuel lines (in and retour) and the new engine has onley one also the
plate where the starer on runs (cant find the english name) the flexplate? is different. can this be the issue??

I AM REALY OUT OF THOUGHTS

You could change the fuel rail to your original unit. That way the fuel system remains OE style. It really sounds like a crank sensor. Goodl luck
