1993 ZJ A/C problem
hey fellas,
New here. did a search on here. found the problem but need the solution.
Just replaced the a/c it worked fine the other day. Today it stopped working. Clutch was not engaging. Connected the A/C comprssor positive straight to the battery while A/C was on and the clutch engaged. So my question is what could be the problem from there.
thanks
justin

Hey Justin, Welcome to CF. Sounds like you're low on freon. low pressure switch won't let the compressor engage when there's not enough freon in the system. If you filed it correctly, there must be a leak. IMO

ANY electrical connection is suspect. I've found plugs that look good and the wires were green 3" back up into the harness!
