hello everyone. i just joined this forum. i have a 2001 grand cherokee laredo with the select-trac and 4L/auto combo. I'm wondering if anyone has ever used 18" rims on a 99-2004 grand cherokee. the reason i am asking is i am in the process of lifting it 4" and have a brand new set of 18" goodyear wrangler at/s(33" tall) from a vehicle that i just got rid of. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
d.

I wouldnt see why you couldnt. Im not sure of a rim that Jeep rim that is 18 beside some of the new Wrangler rims. Id bet they would look great on your Jeep. Ill try and find some pics.

These have the 5x5 bolt pattern just like your WJ.

No reason you can't run 18's. If your 33's are 12.50's you will have trimming to do and you will want less backspacing. WJ's can be tough to run wide tires on.

After knowing that it is possible, I wanna see those 18" rims together with 33" tires installed on your jeep... We'll be the judge if it looks good... :-D

Id bet they would look good. The thing I dont like about them is that they are put on stock wranglers with stock tires so the tires look small. I like more tire than rim. I believe they are the Sahara rims. If they are put on bigger tires, they will look great.
