15x10 vs. 15x8
I am new to this whole Jeep experience but it was an offer I could not refuse so I went ahead bought my first jeep for $650. As it is coming together I have gotten a few different perspectives on this topic but I still can't seem to be persuaded one way or another. All the trucks I have owned I put 15x10s on and I always loved the look, but on another thread I was encouraged to get 15x8s for the ZJ. So all in all I want as many opinions as I can get as to which looks and serves a better purpose. Pictures are welcome as well.
In short: I want to know which is more filling for the ZJ 15x10 or 15x8. Pictures are always helpful.

31x10.50 to start then move up to 33x12.50+ when the suspension comes together.

The 15x10s will look more filling in the wheel wells. However, if you are using a 12.50 wide or less tire 15x10s make them very suseptible to being peeled off the rim by trail debris especially when aired down. The same 12.50 width tire will hold a bead much better on a 15x8 wheel. So, it depends on if you are looking more for fit or function.

15X8 will work with both tires you listed.
Keep in mind that 12.5" is the tire tread width not the rim width. A 12.5" wide tire will measure a few inches less at the rim width. here is an illustration to what I'm talking about...

I am definitely seeking function out of what I choose. And it will see much off roading. I dont believe a 33" will fit without trimming though. Am I correct?
