Just had a sensor replaced . oxygen sensor 1 bank 2 light came back on. Mech said all four sensors have the same part number , Is that right ? Can't afford him again , gonna have to do it myself . ( yes, in a dirt driveway with a foot of snow) I just don't want to order the wrong one . Haven't put my reader on yet to see whats up yet . Not due for inspection until Feb. , hopefully I might get a couple good days by then. Thanks

 

You can look up the part number online. That will tell you if it's the same part.

Remember to either run the vehicle for a half hour or so to get the exhaust manifold hot, or use a torch around the sensor before you try to remove it.

 

Since then I went to a parts store to double check my Reader , he got the same reading 1/1 . Yes, he looked up the O2 sensor and all four are the same part number .
On the way home the light went out and still out ???? I'm sure one of them will go bad , but maybe it will buy me some time until good weather.
I'm just getting to old for this electronic stuff , I'm a points and condenser guy
