'04 WJ drivers seat frame broke again.

Is the 2nd time it broke, first time I had a local welder weld it back together, now is broken in different place. Anyone else experiencing this? Solutions?

Get yourself an older seat frame from a 99-01. I have 243K miles on my WJ have done a little off-roading and bounced around a bit and I'm 265 lbs. Mine hasn't broken yet. It must be made of heavier metal.

I have one of the earlier ones in my XJ too, and no problems

Well, I went to pick-n-pull yesterday and bought another power seat track as it was the track that had broken, When I got the seat out of her WJ today, discovered and the actual seat frame that the track bolts to is broken as well !! NOT good news. Now I'm trying to find another seat.
