Default 04 grand cherokee

hi, i just bought a 04 grand cherokee with a 4.0 L. i got a good deal on it because it needed a new oil pan and a passengers side window regulator. I have those parts ordered and should be here in a week. i noticed when i got on the highway rolling about 70mph i kinda jerked the wheel and the truck kinda felt like it was floating. kinda hard to explain, but to me it felt like those 80's chev caprices, and those other big boats they had back then. you come around a corner at a higher speed and it kinda feels like you are bouncing around the corner. does anybody else notice this or is my suspension just gone too, lol. when i hit a bump it doesn't feel like the suspension is gone. who knows.... also i noticed its heating if you leave it parked. it takes a few minutes but it will go into the red. its fine while i'm driving but not while parked. i don't see the fan running so that could be the problem. also my check engine light came on and i put a code reader on it and it said: heater control sensor low bank 2 sensor 1. any ideas on any of my problems? thanks

Welcome to CF. As far as the ride: Check the sway bar bushings and shocks. My '04 doesn't act like that at all, and has 108,000+ miles on it. We bought it new, and last year the ride was getting a little soft. We had new shocks installed, and it's like new again. Firm & predictable.
Check the fuses and relay for the cooling fan. The relay is under the passenger side headlight.

Here's a video that we shot on my grand that will show you how to change the regulator.
