I've had my Grand Cherokee for about two years now. And while it is just as strong now as when I got it, I would like to increase the horses under the hood. I have general knowledge of some bolt on mods that would increase performance, but I wanna have very noticeable gains. I'm talking mostly top end. Maybe bottom end if I had to. Money can be saved, but isn't unlimited for sure. I know nothing good is going to be cheap. But some insight on what I may need to take it from the measly 265hp it's got now, to somewhere in the high threes or mid fours, would be great. Not opposed to turbo or supercharging. Would sort of like to supercharge it. But I'm sure that would be rebuilding from the bottom end up.

 

You can drop an LS motor in there for about 10 grand. That will get you in that horsepower range.

 

You can take it up to 315 hp with 08 heads and intake. You will need an adaptor for the mechanical throttle body though.

 

Sure is an ambitious idea!
