Hey all,
I have a 2003 grand Cherokee Laredo. It sat for the past few weeks in the snow and rain and cold. Jumped in it today and it fired right up. After driving for about 15 minutes I reached my destination. Got out and locked it, but to my surprise the horn didn't sound. I didn't think much of it but when I got back in the horn definitely wasn't working even when pressing the button on the steering wheel. I do have to admit for the last 2 years the airbag light has intermittently been going on and off, but it doesn't bother me too much and the horn has still always worked. Here the catch, the airbag light is not illuminated at this time and the horn still does not work. It does go through the start up check with all lights coming on and shutting off including the airbag light. Any thoughts? Short of just replace the clock spring I'm looking to see if there is any input, such as check for this specific ground and what not. I haven't check the fuse yet because it's *22 out today and that's a little too cold for me to diag outside. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a horn relay in the fuse block under the dash. You should hear it clicking when you press the horn button. If not, there's your problem, OR you have an open circuit in the clockspring.
