I have an '02 WJ GC Laredo. One day I went to put the rear driver's side window down via the switch on the front door, and the window went off its track... how do I go about repairing this? I can push it up manually from the inside with both hands, but when it's windy or rainy (and especially with snow coming soon enough), the window will come down on its own. I would like to repair this.
Any help would be appreciated!

You'll have to replace the window regulator assembly. Separate parts aren't available. The track is probably still good, but when the cable screws up, the glass goes sideways and comes out of the track. The regulator is an endless cable on a plastic spool hooked to a gearbox with plastic gears. The top pulley breaks or the gears get jammed up. This exact thing happened with my passenger's rear window. One guy fitted a pulley from a window blind that worked on his. My gearbox got jammed up. When you order the part, you need the build date. The design of the part was changed from the early ones.
