Default New Rack Mounts

Update Time!!

This weekend my old roof mount rack broke so it was time to make a new one. So the plasma table I built 3 months ago is coming in handy now, made myself 4 brackets that mount in the rail rail.

Did not buy one. Made my own from scratch, running a hyperthem powermax 45 XP on it though. Also making a website to sell a lot of jeep parts and other things.

Well it was time for an upgrade on the motor mounts, noticed when I would get on the gas everything was shifting and making weird noises. So I went out and got some brown dog motor mounts and was an easy install, only took around an hour to do. But as you guys can see my drivers side one was really bad and ready for replacement.

Wow yours was worse than mine!

Also the driver's side. I wonder if the heat from the exhaust manifold has something to do with it?
I also had a couple of seriously leaky injectors as well. I think the fuel might have deteriorated the rubber.

Your motor mounts were bad, and I bet the heat from the exhaust doe splay a factor in them breaking down quicker than the passenger sides. Did you end up just replacing them with factory mounts or did you go after market?

Well time for a big update, I have been doing some work to the jeep now I have more free time off work. So here is what I have done in somewhat of an order.

In all of winter I have not been driving the jeep since I work so far away and gas cost was getting out of hand. So I got myself a little ford focus for getting back and forth from work. So the jeep has been parked in my heated garage, and I decided to do some work. So around February time I pulled off the fenders and make them look better. Added a 1" strip of steel around the edge of the flat fender to make them look a little bit thicker. This is also how a lot of company's that make armor do theirs.

Then this spring came and I was wanting to drive the jeep on the weekends, also during the winter till now I would use the jeep to get steel for my plasma cutting business. But I was having problems of water coming in to the jeep, well for the longest time I could not figure out were from. Till one day I notice it coming from the top right of the windshield. Well it was time for a new one since I did have a crack and was scratched up. But here are the photos of after getting the windshield taken out.

So now on to the Future projects. Right now I have new 4 hole fuel injectors sitting on my desk ready to be installed, will be powder coating the fuel rail. Since I do that out of my garage for my business also I have lots of extra powders. Then going to fix the roof that bowed in. Hoof lovers, going to make my own set. Also a new paint job, sine my cheep paint job did not hold up for crap, I will be Raptor Lining it. There is also a lot more things that I will be doing but I cant say them all now, I would spoil the surprise of getting them done.
