Default ZJCamper

OK I could not leave well enough alone. So I purchased a simple OME 3.5" Lift from RockyMountain offroad and from Kevins Offroad a set of LP1 rockrails.

Then went shopping for the following:
+Front axle, I found one and am waiting on the guy to respond back with the questions I asked. Price is great. A 07 JK Rubicon dana 44 with disk breaks and stock gearing.
+Rear axle still shopping for a good Danna 44 or Ford 8" or 9".
+Transfer case - a NP231 or NP242. As long as price is good. I want to switch between 4x2, 4hi and low and nutral. I am not used to the idea of not shifting other then into low and nutral seems like somthing is missing.
+Shifter plate with lever and console for the new transfer case. I found one from a 2006 TJ at a great price so I snagged it.
+New tires to go along with my new lift. I talked to my guy at discount and he is getting me a set of 32 or 33 BFG MT depending on if I want to break out the cutting wheel. Rims staying stock just painting them or powder coating.

Specs and build so far:
98 GC ZJ 2" BB Daystar lift, 5.2L V8, 30" BFG AT KO
Added thus far:
Black tail lights
K&N CAI
Optima battery
Cobra CB
Uniden scanner
Hitch d-ring
Tuffy Oversized lock box for the recovery gear
Powertank for refilling tires
Fire extinguisher
New brighter light bulbs from sylvania
OME steering stablizer & shocks
From Kevins offroad I added:
Tire/hilift/shovel roof mount
Off road light bar with a pair of Fog lamps & a pair of driving lights and a firestick annternna
Steering brace
Radiator support

Upcoming items phased in when time and money come up:
New bumper front I have narrowed it down to three options. Iwant to stay light weight other then my Warren winch
Rear is easy I am going back to kevins offroad for the tire carrier converted to a gas can carrier.
Dual battery hook up
Air tank hook up
Under hood shower
Under hood welder
Fender flares
Hood vents
suspension seats
bed platform
Roof mounted Shot gun/rifle rack & a underseat pistol gun vault
Roll cage
Camera mount front rear and along sides. May install two for insde

i normally wouldnt suggest the bushwacker fender flares because they break and i dont like the look on an xj. but depending on the wheeling you are thinking about, the ZJ flares from them look sweet as hell.

why do you want a roof mounted shot gun rack?

looks like a nice grand only thing i don't like is the Jerry can holder. other than that it looks like a clean jeep. i love the grand but i would hate to wheel something so nice.

Default Gas can holder

Yes the cary location for the gas was a quick need. I mounted it with a Support bar behind so it would not pull out. This is temp because my swing out is being built. It will hold two gas cans and two water.

Flares are just to keep rocks chipping low and keep the cops in So cal from harrassing if the tires I put on sit out side the wheel well.

Nice ZJ!

On the front bumper take a look at Hanson Enterprise. They are about to re-introduce their ZJ bumper after customer demand was high.
