Sold my 8.8 today so got me some money for some DOM which I will hopefully order this weekend. I think I have a pretty good idea of how much I will need to get started.
Just out on longer wheel studs up front so I can put the racelines on
. Tomorrow I'm doing the rear, I've never removed a c-clip can anyone tell me if its a pain in the *** or will It being something I can do easily and won't be to time consuming.

The raceline wheels I have ( picture posted somewhere here) are a lot thicker then my Cragars and need longer studs. I tried putting them on last week and couldn't even turn the nut on.Originally Posted by Dan_Man

Simple explanation. Lol. Its a easy pain in the booty. Originally Posted by scottd16

Remove drums.
Remove diff cover.
Find bolt holding center pin in.
Remove bolt and pin.
Push axles in from outer wms.
Pull clips with magnet.
Remove axle.
Reverse to install.
you don't even need a magnet. Once the pin is out they'll fall right off
So the rear was real easy didn't even have to take the shaft out. I found an area that had just enough room to slip the studs through.

lol.... holy crap dude, I was just kidding - I didn't know you actually had one coming... although, I was kinda hoping there was a reason for that much comp cutting in the rear...
