Sold my 8.8 today so got me some money for some DOM which I will hopefully order this weekend. I think I have a pretty good idea of how much I will need to get started.

The raceline wheels I have ( picture posted somewhere here) are a lot thicker then my Cragars and need longer studs. I tried putting them on last week and couldn't even turn the nut on.

Simple explanation. Lol. Its a easy pain in the booty.
Remove drums.
Remove diff cover.
Find bolt holding center pin in.
Remove bolt and pin.
Push axles in from outer wms.
Pull clips with magnet.
Remove axle.
Reverse to install.

you don't even need a magnet. Once the pin is out they'll fall right off

So the rear was real easy didn't even have to take the shaft out. I found an area that had just enough room to slip the studs through.

lol.... holy crap dude, I was just kidding - I didn't know you actually had one coming... although, I was kinda hoping there was a reason for that much comp cutting in the rear...
