Dang I just realized how heavy that jeep has become.. You're not gonna run a straight 6 in it are you?

Hell my 4.0 only had 10 oil psi pulled my Jeep with the trailer behind me with another jeep on it and all the trail gear/camping gear up black mt, the highest point in ky

Agreed 4.0s are strong. With proper axle gearing the 4.0 can handle a lot.

did some more work today, trying to finish up the from end. Lots of little stuff to do. decided not to do external cage, it will be internal, everything will be tied into the body.

will you ever be able to get it on a scale? I am curious to know the weight

it is staying full bodied, no chopping of the body, that's why I decided to do internal cage for safety so that the body on the outside is visible.


as for the weight, its scaring me a bit, I'm not sure what its going to weigh in at. 6500# ?? guessing.

here are few more pics as requested. 39" irock for reference, 43" SX's or 42" Irocks will be the final tire size.


NJDevL28, to answer your question, I learned back in high school a bit of welding, sheet metal work and just lots of practice in the garage.
