You realize a front or rear axle is like 100 bucks right..... I can bend the **** out of the axle and just swap it out.

And neither do I but honestly you got to think about it. I'm going back out to the desert for another six months so I would rather run the stock axles because that's all I can do right now. But when I get back I can do a motor swap, axles ,transmission and tcase. But till then i just wanna wheel.

Thanks man. A lot of time and money. Just keep chipping away at it. A few of the frequent posters just got annoying so I stopped posting on here. But I figured I would post some progress

Do what you need to do. Some people here are trolling your thread, but some are offering serious advice.

HOLY COW! I can't imagine this thing. I've built a few big Jeeps... but this thing is just... ugh.
If you're going to go that high, at least go full width. The stability must be so sketchy with that much height.
For referance this is 8" with one tons and 44's
This is 8" tons with 42's
For me low is so much better. I went to 4.5" and 40's after those two.

Ya know. That's what blows my mind about this site... This guy could be replacing his unibody with pool noodles and someone would either post to the thread saying "Sick ride, Bro!" or post to the thread in defense of the posters bad ideas. That's what's ****ing immature.
If he wants to make all the same mistakes I made when I built a Jeep then, by all means, go for it.
People like you who suck the tit of bad ideas deserve to be told so...
When the OP get's back from over yonder and bolts some real axles under his 9 foot tall XJ then I'll tell him he's done a good job.
After all, "It's your Jeep, do what you want to." "People are just trolling your thread."

Just saying, you probably could of found a complete d60/14b set for around the same price you probably paid for those tube fender flares.

he just keeps lifting it and doing stupid stuff like exhaust, fenders, and chain link mudflaps (wat) instead of focusing on the stuff that is important for functionality.

I definitely appreciate the helpful criticism and the advice but the trolling just gets really old really quick.
