I measured from chassis between shock and coil spring to inside of tire lug. Once I got it close I then measured from chassis to inside if rim to get it as close as possible. Be careful and don't over torque your track bar bolt. I broke 2.

Any suggestions?
Sounds similar to my setup, minus the back lights. I have 4 up top on the front of my rack, and 2 down on my bumper. I have 2 back-up lights mounted to my hitch that come on automatically with the reverse lights. There might be a way to wire up those two lights that you want on the back to a switch and your reverse? That way they could come on whenever you wanted, with the switch, and automatically with reverse. Just a thought!

I'm sure there is a way to accomplish your suggested wiring, but I'm not sure that I want them on every time I put it in reverse. I don't really need the extra light when in town because there's plenty of street light. I envision using these lights only on trail where there isn't any light. I've seen some other people wire their rack lights to their brights switch. Even that's overkill for my needs. Thanks for the suggestion though!

that looks good, ive got 4.5" la with 35s i had to do some cutting i drive mine almost every day i went with the spartin in my 8.25 and lock right in the front just for the cost factor i love them the lock right doesnt lock on the road unless i turn very charp. i think your doing a heck of a build looking good. i am thinking of buying one just for a daily driver and stay down in the 3s with lift with 31. do you have any problems with it running hot sinse you put that winch up in front of the radiator like that?

I was wondering about this as well since I use mine as a daily driver. Would the stage 1 not have this issue?

That was one of my concerns before I bought the backbone so I called up Mark at Detours and talked about it. He said he's never had a customer have cooling problems that didn't have cooling problems before they installed the backbone. After driving mine around for a bit this winter, I haven't had any issues with it overheating yet either. The only time I did see the engine get a bit warm was when I was snow-bashing and working the engine quite a bit. But, I would have expected to see that without the winch, too.

I don't know what Jeep calls it. I'll see if I can remember to call a dealer during business hours and find out for ya.

great build, love the color of the jeep, and gorgeous house.

and nice use of the big words, vacillate, had to look that one up.

BTW great shots, a nice quality picture always makes a build thread that much better, nothing worse that shaky blurry shots where you thinking.....whats that?
