What do you guys think?

Oh, and Back Country 4 Wheelers is having an outing about 45 mins from me on Feb. 3. Hopefully I get to go out with my dad and take my jeep on its first "official" trail ride/ event. Pretty excited!

Thanks guys, my dad's put a lot of work into this car. It's won a few small awards at some local shows.

The Flares are by Napier Precision Products. Gooogle them or look them up in the vendors section. I love the look of these flares, just the right size for my tire/backspacing combo

Default good day

Worked on the Jeep today, made a dog net setup to keep my retriever mix in the back. Made it out of a baseball return net, some old sockets, and some pipe. Kinda neat, pics later.
My Spartan Locker showed up today, and I started putting that in. I'm having a hard time getting the left axle out.

My Dad and I got the locker in the carrier, but we found that the races and bearings need replaced. Oh well, hopefully NAPA has them in store

Locker all in and done! Drove around town. In 2wd drive it doesn't appear to affect driving at all, and the ratcheting noise is very quiet. In 4wd it locks up and is hard to steer. Can't wait to go off road. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow

Nice Jeep! Although mine is green, I have a crush on white XJs!

Quick question, what backspacing does your wheels have? Looking at that pic it's basically what I'm going for.

We just took the Jeep out and tested the spartan Locker. We made it through 3-4 inches of snow like pavement. Then we tried making it up a hill that had a little over 8 inches of snow at the top. It took 3 or 4 tries, but we made it. Then I drove up my snowboard ramp again for another flex test. It was sweet, got the back tire way in the air haha. I have a pic on cell phone, might be able to upload it
