Mine do that too. Hot days it almost goes up by itself, cold days, we can say ive almost been locked in the back when doing my speakers lol

 

They aren't in yet, I have to go at the old mount with a flap disc tonight... also have to go pick up the mount from NAPA... but they're much better than my old one. Didn't have any resistance to it at all. With these I can't push them in at all... but I'm so happy to be this close to actually having a working hatch.

i got one from harbor freight. its saved my *** plenty of times and hasnt failed me yet!

and mine was like 10-15 bucks maybe i dont remember but it wasnt to expensive

 

HF has them?! How's the quality? If they're decent I'm just gonna get one from them..

 

ive been stuck in some rough rocks and some deep water/mud and it didnt fail me. i highly recomend it.

i think theve got a reciever tow hook to IIRC

Got this.. not a huge fan, I think I'm gonna get the one from IRO instead.



Painted the shackle red to see if I liked it more. Improved it but it still looks funky. lol.



Started painting one of my Eccos. What do you guys think of Charcoal grey with the red center cap? Ignore the really god-awful paint job, I'm gonna re-do it later.

I'm leaning towards that. They remind me a bit of the AEV Pintlers especially with the colored center and grey color. I almost tried out a tan color, lol.
