tw1gz white 92 xj
Lurked on this website for a while now figured might as well start a build thread for my jeep. What up.
This is my 92 xj a little after I got it last october. Learning as I go so please bare with me, although I am getting help from my dad on some of the bigger projects.
List of upgrades that were on it when I bought it -
-3.5 in procomp leaf springs.
-2 in drop shackles.
-4.5 in front coil springs
-bilstein front shocks/procomp rear shocks
-33x12.5x15 bfg at tires
-craiger 15x10 wheels
-ac retrofitted to r134s
-aftermarket headlights
-brown dog motor mounts
-rubicon front and rear extended steel braided brake lines
-light cubes and switch panel for lights / ?
-rear bumper spare tire mount
-Pioneer deck and rockford and fosgate speakers
-front and rear bar pin eliminators
-new track bar
-new power stearing gear box
-maintence upgrades
New upgrades since purchase -
-Torn out the old carpet/installed new black carpet/new black dashmat
-changed my speedometer cluster to white leds
-replaced driver side seat
-added rough country shackle relocators
-added spectre cold air intake
-new battery
-painted front diff cover and put dana logo on
-replaced passenger side floor pannel
I have new taller 4.5 in coils, rough country control arm drop down brackets, and rustys adjustable control arms I will be installing this weekend. After That I plan on upgrading the steering and then getting new shocks, frame stiffeners, rustys fenders w/ armor, new bumpers, hood rack and more stuff I would be here for days listing everything as you all know it is never ending. I want to go to a junkyard soon and look for neon fuel injectors.
Here are some more pics of stuff since I have had it, now that I have this thread going I will start taking pics of everything as I do it. These are just what I have in my phone right now, will update this weekend.

shackle relocators added
new spectre cold air intake added.
front diff looks tough painted

To be quite honest with you I'm not totally sure, I will get back to you. We had to do some fab work on it as it was vibrating alot when i originally got the jeep but we reinforced it with 3/16 steel plates and the rear bumper and it is rock solid now. Thank you tho man.

Looking at your third picture of the wheel and shackle it may be worth getting a set of hub centric wheel rings if you have any vibrations going on. $20 well spent in my experience.

Today was a good day. Did cut and fold inside the front two fenders and painted the inside. Cleaned my shocks. Fixed my tie rod angle until I get my new steering in a week or two, installed new front driveshaft and checked angle and the angle is good. Located a couple bushings to replace, regreased the front end. Finally got to take it for a drive after going from 3.5 to around 5 inch of lift and the new control arms/drop brackets and shackle relocators and the new cold air intake, thing sounds like a straight beast and it rides SO much nicer. This weekend hack n tap and possibly new steering. Of course I only remembered to snap one picture, after doing the cut and fold and applying silicon just before painting.

My dad has a buddy at work who is aparently getting out of cars/jeeps and into motorcycles and had a bunch of stuff lying around. We traded him a old yamaha bike from the 80s for some stuff with that included. Thing sounds wicked I am very hyped on it.
