Southeast Beast
Well, I don't know if beast is the right word but I hope it will look like a beast when I am done. This may take a couple of years but I got plenty of time...just not enough money!
Here is the Heep when I bought it back in February of this year (2011). Completely stock with 135k on the odometer. Forgot to mention it is a 2000 model.

If I remember correctly I think one of the first things I did was get rid of the ugly silver factory rims. I did not have money to buy new ones yet so I picked up some Rustoleum Wheel Paint. I can say that it has held up very well so far. I did not care that I got some over spray on the tires because I had 30x9.50's sitting in the garage waiting to be put on.

Well, I have a 3" lift kit sitting here on the floor waiting to be added to the 2" of lift so I will have a total of 5". Should be happening in the next few weeks fingers crossed. Just waiting on some rims to come in I ordered.

Recent upgrades
Here is a few upgrades I recently did. Tinted the front windows, used some trim and bumper paint to touch up the side molding and front bumper corners. Added a Mossy Oak sticker to the front windshield and started building a conduit rack for the top. Will post pics of it when I am finished with it. They are hard to see but also picked up some camo seat covers from Big Lots for 19.99 for the pair.

Yep, I sure will. I am an electrician by trade and had a few sticks of 3/4" emt laying around. Got bored and started bending. Had enough scrap 3" wide by 3/16" thick steel to make 6 supports. Came up a couple short so I only put 4 on just to see what it would look like. Gotta stop by the home depot and get a little more.

New wheels!
Well the rims finally shipped out. They should be here Tuesday. Finally! I am so happy to get these. Have not seen any other XJ's with them. I was trying to deviate from the norm (Soft 8's, etc.) Will have the 32's mounted as soon as I get them and then hopefully get this beast lifted.
