I'm not really going backwards. It was to TALL. lol I needed to drop it down a bit to keep the CG in check. The only way to do it with the 18x39.5 boggers was to revamp the fenders. I decided to get rid of the fenders and tube the front. I'll skin the tube with the outer part of the fenders once I'm done. The front will be narrowed to make room for the tires. If it turns out like I want it should look something like this.

Today I got the brakes done and bled off. Then mounted the drivers seat back in. I'm loosing the use of the shop since my boss has leased it out. So next week I will be moving it yet again. In the mean time I thought I would do a mock up of the narrowed front end. Keep in mind that the body will be lowered by almost 5 inches after I get it moved.
So here are the pictures of the fender skins narrowed.

Hey man, I have a early Mustang 3 row desert Cooler radiator that will fit inbetween your framerails and has already had the tanks modified for sbc use, used it on my first v-8 conversion in my Cherokee, I would take fifty bucks for it to get it out of my garage. Chevokeeman.

Any new updates? Also, I was wondering if there is any info on the blue cherokee with the bobbed fenders? Is it on this forum?

No updates. I had to move out of the shop and now have it at a storage unit. Another CF member from here in OK is going to help me with the cage.
The blue cherokee is one that was for sale on another forum. I dont know if there was any build threads on it.

BTW, Thanks to Chevokeeman I have the use of a bender for my cage. So I will be working on a cage soon.
