Default The **** Bus

This jeep was destined to be a beater from the start. No, nothing I do to this jeep is taken seriously haha, therefore everything on my rig is not up to par with some of you pros. Bought the jeep for $1700 (more than I wanted to pay but it met all my requirements so had to get it) and was in excellent condition. $.0 high output, four wheel drive, and with 5 speed. No rust, no dents, air worked, new clutch, everything worked. The jeep was daily driver quality that I planned on destroying.

Then few months later a tree came out of no where while wheeling.

After doing some collision repairs, fixing the bent tie rod, and welding a S***** bumper together it came out..... alright

Installed 1.5 inch spacers
Tuff Stuff LED light. Must say it is like day light on the trails at night. Definitely recommend for $150.
Put 5.0 Mustang Injectors in and was noticeably different on throttle response.
Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, cps sensor, and valve cover gasket.
Runs ok but does hiccup and will "bog out" when coming to a stop.

Pulled out all insulation and discovered the infamous xj floorboards.

The inside is dirty as well as any mud truck should be.

Thank you guys for looking. More to come. Will be installing a lift soon and hopefully get it running in tip top shape.

Sorry, but if you paid $1700 for one that rusty, you did something wrong, man.
Looks like you could literally stick you hand through any number of those holes, lol.

Good luck getting it all sorted out, though!
And why the name, haha?

Thank you for your concern, but i only drive it about a quarter mile down the road in a one light town to get to where i want and when i first bought it there was minimal rust. The rust was a result of sinking it a few times in deep holes before i pulled the insulation out.

Hahaha, the name came from my buddies one night after I reeled in a group of butt ugly ***** with a bad drinking problem into the jeep.

I hate rust with a passion haha. I'm fine with dents, scratches, and stuff...Rust...Something about the way it just keeps getting worse, even while you're not driving haha

****-BUS UPDATE: Just got the front lifted and will be doing the rear in a few weeks because i can only work on it for a couple hours at a time after work everyday. By the way im flattered you guys "like" the ****-Bus. And please do not be critical on the fab work it has been a half *** project in which anything i can make that is quick and practical is accepted.

Rusty's rear and front shocks, coil springs "4.5, upper and lower front control arms from an eBay store. Self made t-bar bracket welded together by some dude with Parkinson's (me).

It looks like Ray Charles welded that with his feet.
