I won’t bore anyone with the details, but figured I’d post up some pics of my ’99 in case anyone ever searches for a setup similar to where I ended up…

· ’99 Cherokee Sport, 118k miles
· HP D30, C8.25, Spartan lockers
· RC 4.5” Long Arm, 3” AAL, additional factory main leaf, RC shackle relocation boxes and extended shackles, DIY bumpstops
· 33x12.5-15 Goodyear MTR/k on 15x8 American Racing Outlaw II with 3.75” BS
· Rockhard 4x4 rear bumper/carrier
· Autometer Z-Series water and trans temp gauges in Autometer A-pillar pod
· Uniden CB, Firestick 4’ fiberglass whip

When I bought it:

can you post some pictures of where you put the aftermarket water temp gauge in? or did you just use the stock gauge sensor spot?

rear tire carrier is nice tto, and i think you might want to get new rear leafs, they seem alittle flat

I used an Autometer heater hose adapter. Very clean/easy, used them on several rigs always with great results:

They are supposed to be flat-ish... The shackle relocation and the AAL gave me all the lift I wanted, and the additional main leaf gave me the spring rate I was after to support the bumper/carrier without additional height. Nothing looks worse than a stink-bug rake in my opinion.

I didn't build it for Jeepspeed... I've done quite a few XJ spring plates like this over the years (3/8" plate) and never had a problem for my useage.
