And I just realized how remarkably unhappy I look in that picture
I guess McDonalds will do that to ya...
There, I replaced it so y'all wouldn't be scared.

Just ordered some parts:
New 23.5 gallon Spectra gas tank
New tank straps
New filler neck
I'm about to go get lunch and check Advance and Napa to see if they have proper fuel lines.

More good news!
It's been two days without any trouble from the cooling system. City, highway, back roads, wide open tire spinning, and no trouble. Still keeping an eye on it. On a similar note, my new gas tank, straps, and filler neck are shipped. Advance Auto said they'll be here the 13th. UPS says tomorrow. We'll see.
I just got back from a 100mi round trip to Fairfax, Virginia (hooray for proper cooling) to get tires. I picked up four 30x9.5x15s mounted on stock steelies for $75. I got down there, talked Jeeps a little, and the guy gave me his stock coils and a stock XJ brush bar for free.

I test fit my buddy's old 31s from his TJ, and they fit with no rubbing. I didn't flex them, of course, but I could drive them on the street. I shouldn't have any trouble with these 30s, but we'll all find out today when I mount them. Last night I traded my old 33x12.5 spare to dukie564 for his old 30x9.5 spare.
