I'm still deciding on final lift height, tire size, and axles. It's gonna be a while before I do it, but I'm split between:
D44 or 8.8 rear swap, 4.5" with 33x12.5s
or
Full width, 6" and 35s.

I'll probably be staying smaller cause most of the trails around here are tight, and I wouldn't need the extra height. Regardless, nowhres gave me a cable kit for the front axle, but I haven't installed it yet.

I was pretty new back then
That book had an impact on my life at the time that I first read it, and that quote has always stuck with me. It's the way I look at the world, and now I use it as my handle for everything, especially forums and Xbox Live.

The XJ initially (most of the pre-lift pictures) had Wintermark tires from Kelly. Post-lift, I was running 33x12.5x15 Duratracs, and I loved them.

Lol because I dropped into mud like you went through, just not as long. Had my hood go under but had my cowl intake so no issue. After wheeling I opened the good and my stock air box was saturated on the outside. If I didn't do the mod I would have taken in so much water it would have sucked royally

That's awesome! Always wondered where that came from and knew it was familiar!
