Now you see it
Now you don't. The bastard still hasn't given up. A little something still poking out that shouldn't.
Lots of cursing going on while I formulate a plan to remove the bastard. What would Wile E. Coyote do??!!??@??
The girlfriend is telling me that I better have a plan for getting rid of the spare parts

I failed to mention that I've been spraying the bastard with PB Blaster all day. I finally just muscled it out. If it breaks, whatever. It didn't. Much better now!

While relocating the vacuum ball the line split, so I made a trip to the auto parts store for some flexible line. I just dropped the ball (so to speak) in the space near the firewall on the passenger side. Since daylight was burning I'll perm-a-mount it later.
I am running out of daylight and I was starting to drag so I blitzed the remainder of the mount and didn't mange to get any pictures other than plenty of after shots.
With this bumper there's no drilling required, just bolt the bumper mounts to the frame and bolt the frame to the mounts. Pretty easy.

So many other things I want to do to Nurple. Now to figure out what is next. Rear bumper? Winch and aux lights? I dunno. Will see.

That butt end is gonna sag real quick with a rear bumper and the add a leaf. Just wanted to throw that out there.
On the other hand, looks real good. I'll be following.

Tru dat. I'm thinking that eventually I'll go to a full leaf pack or even a 4.5 inch lift. But right now she's gtg.

Neat! That purple color is not something you see every day.
Looking forward to where you go with this. Cleanly done thus far. We seem to be heading in similar directions.

Thank you much. I'm an LSU Tiger fan so the purple is fine with me.
The clear coat is peeling pretty bad on the hood and roof. I'm trying to figure out what to do about it. Leaning heavily toward spraying some black U-Pol Raptor on those surfaces but may have it painted the original purple.

I bought some 4-hole injectors about a month ago. Time to install them! I also picked up an idle air control valve to see if it helps my rough idle.

Houston, we have a problem. Injectors won't fit into the intake manifold. No way, no how.
I reinstalled the old injectors and installed the new idle air control valve. Buttoned it all up, verified that I didn't have any fuel leaks or other issues.
Took a short ride and sure enough, she idles smooth and steady now. No more bogging down or racing while I'm sitting at red lights.
Well today was somewhat of a win. I'll sort out the injectors and try again another day.
