Default project zj cummins

currently i have a 93 grand cherokee with the 4.0l straight 6. 3 inch suspension lift on 33s. i just bought a rollover 95 ram 2500 with the 5.9l cummins in it and i am planning to swap motor tranny trans case and axles. should be happening in the next few months so i will post pics. i know i will need custom driveshafts and im not sure about suspension yet. let me know what yall think and if you have seen this done before.

Bad ***. I'll be following this closely. I have been thinking about doing the same thing to my xj for a few months now.

haha i love how that makes sense... never knew Jet fighters had motors... Sorry man just had to take a crack.

Looks like a good build. You'll need to consider putting or building frame stiffeners, otherwise i dont think you'll have a zj that has a straight body with all that torque haha

Also what kind of springs you going to run up front to help counter the weight?

i am going to modify my coil buckets to contain the 2500 springs and a 3 inch spacer so it will be slightly raked but not excessively. with all the resources i have i can do pretty much anything... except the jet "motor" haha i know what u meant but it has to be street legal still.

You could always go to the hobby shop and get some of the model rocket engines about 10k should do although stopping may be an issue
