Take a look at this shackle angle. I had to install the bolt on the shackle the opposite way it was originally because I couldn't clear the gas tank from the inside out. I don't think it matters. I read a thread at jeepforum about people having this same kinda issue with RC leaf packs. I had to loosen the shackles a bit just to bring it forward enough to bolt the leaf on. I also accidentally pinched the bolt head to the lip on the shackle housing. I had to loosen the bolt again and use a pry bar to pull the shackle down a bit and retighten. After I drove it around when I finished the lift, it did settle back down a bit, but I definitely was worried lol.

This is what my steering wheel looked like after we lined up and installed the track bar. Lol, it's upside down.

Last and final step. Transfer case drop. I didn't order a SYE yet, I have to save up some more cash for that. This part I thought would be easy. I was wrong. The instructions say use 2 nuts on the stud to form a locking nut and just back the bolt out. Lol. There was no way the nuts would lock and back that stubborn bolt out. So, thankfully, my brother had a little welder and he tacked a bead in both studs holding the nut to the bolt, which definitely worked. Also, RC didn't Send a drop bushing for the stock transfer case skid I have, so we found a bolt lying around that was a bit longer and fit, then used some washers and a bushing that came off of one of the old shocks and made our own drop. It worked great. We had to either drop the skid or remove it because it created a weird angle on the cross member and the bolt holes would not line up when it was dropped and the skid was not.

4.5 inch lift on 235s LOL!!!

Well, the lift is finally done. It took all weekend but we had fun. This was all made possible because of my brother who has all the right tools and was willing to give up his weekend to help me. Thanks man.

This looks so funny with my old 235s. Just waiting on my wheels to show up. I already have my MTZ 33x12.5x15 tires sitting in the garage. Then it's off to the tire shop to have them mounted and balanced. Also time for an alignment after that and trimming.

Lol yeah i really wanna stay flush. I really don't want to turn the t-case into a shovel lol. I actually have adjustable uppers. I was thinking about wedging the rear, but I think I might wait until I pick up a ford 8.8, which is definitely happening very soon.

I drove it up to 65mph with no vibes at all. I was pretty stoked about that.
