I'm really glad you made this thread. first off it is great, interesting, and funny at the same time. second, im gunna be putting in a 5.5" critical path with 31x10.5 stt's as soon as i buy another xj(been hunting "The one" for over a month now). Now I know that it will look great cuzz it will be the same style(97-01) same tires and rims, and same lift -1". your jeep looks great I must add and sorry about the finger. and for the person asking about rc versus extra cash for an IRO, it is worth it! this is how they line up from my experience. 1 being bad 10 being best:
IRO 5.5": RC 6.5":
Road: 8 6
normal wear: 7 5
offroad: 9 6
Price: 8 9
abnormal breakage:10 6
dont get me wrong, RC is still a worthy kit but in my opinion the extra $300 for the IRO is definitely noticable. My cousins IRO which i drive probably more than him rides better than mine when it was stock on road. RC rides a little rough but not as bad as some ive seen but still doesnt compare to IRO. and IRO plain old out performs RC offroad especially in the crawling/flex catagory. I would say IRO is very comparible to RE for alot less. hats my .02$

Sorry guys I haven't had internet for a while now. I had to move due to foreclosure and there's not a service worth getting that's available here. So I got a smartphone. I also got some 33s for 25 a piece from the used tire shop. Still stock gears but its really not bad. I just get bad mileage

And probably the best upgrade I got in a while. New 4.88 gears for the d30 and the Ford 8.8, Detroit true track up front, and Detroit locker in the rear. The only problem is finding someone to do the install. This is one job I will let someone else handle
hey i noticed you did the bed liner im wanting to do the same in my 88 Cherokee but right now with no carpet its hot as h*** in it does the bed liner help keep heat out ?
