i dont have the money for all this haha. but i just find deals n save parts. gets the job done, Rob i am SO JEALOUS i cant wait to finally be able to buy gears, by end of summer ill have some bought mark my words. yes mabel soon my jeep is running perfectly so id be down to do some rock crawlin.

I was driving hers and was supposed to be going to Hubbardston, MA right after work with Rob to get a 5-speed parts cherokee that diphole let their sons friend buy he tried driving it brakelines popped and he crashed it but i was still like give him my phone number i still want it...

so after Stealthcherokee got TJkillers old hood with hood vents premounted, and since i got my THOR cold air intake cowl snorkel kit iv been heavily interested in getting my hands on a set of hood vents, to cool down the engine bay itself and the cold air intake setup as it lies directly above my engine. My buddy is a mechanic for heavy equiptment and he came across a few panels with vents on them off a peice of equiptment to keep its engine cooler. hos xj is still least a few months from even being drivable so he gave me a panel for free. comes with three vents on it. my plans are to measure the length of each vent to make sure i can fit it on my hood comfortably, then cut 2 out prime n paint them. drill some mounting holes in them match some mounting holes to my hood, then mount the vents first by using black rtv, (keep it as water resistant as possible) then once that has dried a little im going to either use rivets or bolts to mount the vents so there more stable. pick of the panel with the vents on it:

Jeeps coming along nicely, serious question for you though... How do you pass inspection? For the love of god I just spent 1700$ for a damn sticker.
