He man, liking the a pillars a lot thanks for reminding me of detours forgot all about him. You actually inspired me to go back Ito his website and make the decision to buy one of his rear bumpers/tire carriers. Just gotta wait on the cash flow ( that makes it and landlfabrication front bumper and a detours rear nothing like supporting the forum).

By the way I finally got around to finishing my flares should have a photo up in the morning for you.

aight so now i will show some picturse of how the carrier works, it drops down to a 45 degree angle thus allowing the hatch to funtion properly. and mounts to my recevier hitch, it has an anti-rattle wedge at the end piece that mounts to my hitch (which i now regret not taking a picture of) that is a pita to tighten lol besides that it was a breeze to install. the bar that the tire mounts to itself is removable and adjustable so you can space it out depending on the width of the tire you run, i have him custom make mine with another hitch welded to the bottom of the carrier so i could still tow if need be. the carrier seems pretty damn sturdy i dont forsee there being any noises or movement. here are some pics

also the tire completely blocks my lisense plate so my buddy is making me another custom license plate bracket that were gonna bolt into my rear bumper on the drivers side. until thats finished i gotta figure something out.

Liking the tire carrier just gives the jeep a more jeepy look in my opinion. Can't wait for tax returns to get one myself.

As for the flares, I still want to trim the rear ones to the body line. But they make it legal and it doesn't look half bad.

I like the tire carrier, was looking to build something just like it so I could still tow as well. Nice build.

Yes I do drive from greenfield to the cape often lol, I've heard the same thing from a few people I know that go to the Holyoke mall. Although your jeep is a much nicer rig than mine, people still think it's me.
