Well, now my project can progress just a bit further, I ordered something shiny from Ironman Andy. Huge props to him, I placed my order 4 days ago, got the motor mounts today, and I must say, they are INSANE. I won't ever need to worry about them again. If you haven't yet, go get yourself a set!
I do want to add in that he cares about his work, when they arrived, they were double-boxed, then 20 layers of cellophane covering 6 layers of shipping paper. Once all that was out of the way, they were bolted together, and even there he showed care, as there was a sheet of cardboard between the two base-plates so they wouldn't scratch each other during shipping.

Been a while since I've had anything to upload, but that day has finally arrived.
The old Renix is finally out and retired. Damn stout engine though, even at 333,xxx it still ran like a champ.
The first pic is the Renix sitting on the ground, awaiting rebuild, and all the rest are the newer H.O. going in. I figured while it was on the stand, I'd put in new main gaskets and an oil pan gasket, so that got done.

Last post for now I swear! All that's left to get the beast fired is to figure out the pin-out for the TPS so I can splice the newer H.O. plug onto the older Renix system.
Also, here she is sitting on the mounts, bolted down and ready to get plugged in. I do want to throw in a note for anyone considering the Ironman4x4fab motor mounts. They're well worth the money, but the poly bushings make them a downright ***** to line up properly.

Alright, I've got a question that searching hasn't been the clearest in answering. Does anybody have the pin-out for a 91 Comanche TPS? Or better yet a full wiring diagram?

Got a pleasant surprise last night. A long-time friend of the family has a truck at my place for repairs, and there's a Warn electric winch on the front that I've been wanting. Well, without any warning, out of the blue, said friend said take the winch, it's free.
I about **** myself hearing that. The winch does need new cable put on it, but hell, that's no problem. I'm thinking about the Masterpull superline XD series synthetic rope.
Will post pics when I can.
Edit: Here's my new toy.

Here's a random video from my second to last wheeling trip, the bronco driver has a bad habit of driving too close off road and ended up rear-ending me later on in the day. We ended up having to change his radiator core support, grille, driver side fender, and hood.

Here's a couple of random pics I snapped tonight, I've been getting it finalized. My T-case mainshaft shows up (hopefully) this Saturday, thanks again to 1995XJ_Sport!

Very close to having her running! Got the tranny in last night/this morning, got everything hooked up, but I think I'm slightly off-timing, after correcting my 180° out problem, I cranked her over for a bit, then backfire from hell. Shook a few things off my wall, and I had a good three foot flame out my shop door. I'd have the timing set, but my timing light flashed three times, then blew up. All I have left now is to tighten down a couple of bolts, hook up my drivelines, and do my brakes.

Success! The beast has left the shop under her own power! However, I still have some fine-tuning to do, still need to get my TPS fixed, somehow the bushing from the H.O.'s is gone, so I have nothing to tell the ECU where the throttle truly is, so it's got a nasty idle. I also have a steady stream of water coming from the front of the block, I know my T-stat housing isn't sealing properly, but I think the majority of it is coming from my water pump. My buddy was joking around and said The Kraken has risen, since it's so loud and trails water everywhere it goes.

HAHAHAHA! The beast truly lives now! I was fighting with the timing for a long while, then I figured out that my cam was 180º out. Now that it's corrected, I can't make it up my own driveway without going sideways thanks to new gears and bald rears.

Well, I don't know how much longer I'll be here, I'm an army dog now, so I'll be out for quite a while once I get shipped out.

So it's not really a build point, but I did go out and have quite a bit of fun with some other Jeepers this 4th.
The Jeeps in the first pic: Green XJ is my uncle's, the stock height red XJ is my dads, a gift from me. Mine's the middle one.
The rest of the pics are of a few other Jeepers on the beach that were cruising around and ended up all joining up.
At one point, we had 9 Jeeps, 4 XJs, 1 CJ5, 1 TJ, 2 YJs, and 1 SJ all rolling side by side down the sand. Everyone stopped and watched us, it was quite a blast.

Gotta love Fel-Pro Perma-Dry!
