Project SNIPER (In honor of a soldier)
I picked up my DD/WW 89 Cherokee Laredo in exchange for a 97 VW Jetta GLX.
When I got the Jeep it had a Rough Country 3.5" short arm lift, 31" Maxxis Bighorns, and a broken set of fog lights (lenses shattered).
My plans are to switch over to either the Rubicon Express extreme long arm 6.5" lift or the 6.5" Iron Rock Offroad long arm. I want input from people who have the systems mentioned.
It is currently faded red, but that will be changed soon to OD Green bed liner. As well as the addition of custom bumpers built by TMF, a roof rack by TMF, and a light bar by TMF. Tires are changing to TSL Swamper Boggers in the note of 33"/12.50"/15s.
Delta Tech Sealed beam conversion with H4 55/120 Watt.
Current mods are:
Fixed front fogs (120 Watt H3s)
Added aux reverse lights on toggle (H3 100 watts)
Ceiling mounted Cobra 29LTD classic peaked and tweaked
102" Stainless whip in the center of the roof
Kenwood CD deck, stock-ish speakers.
Custom TMF hood vent.
I'm wanting to do OD Green with black stars on the doors, and do a military sniper theme in honor of a good friend who was killed in the line of duty to keep the country a lot of us on this forum live in free.
I am having custom vinyls made for the rear glass of his rifle model, with his squad number, locations served, and birth/death dates.
I am building it up in memoriam of him, it will be turned into a search and rescue rig, and I will be donating time with it to the local fire department, as there are many places they cannot take their rigs that they need to be able to go to recover cars/crash victims.
Pictures will come as soon as I get home.

Here's the pics promised!
Mind you, these were all taken from my cell phone, I will get some good pictures when I get home later today, these are just a few teasers. Yes, the Odometer does read that high, yes it's stock, and yes, I'm on the original engine.
Pay no mind to the sway bar link, it's broken......Again.
No, the cat is not for sale, so don't ask.

Hey, I'm a broke-@$$ college student, what more can I say? I use what I can scavenge, it's what I do. Every mod I've personally done has been using stuff I've found for $5 max. The hood scoop is actually the vent from a 1960's travel trailer, it was mounted over the propane cookstove

Lol, that cat is actually tiny, due to the perspective and angle the pic was taken at, he looks twice as big as he really is, and sorry about the pic size, I uploaded them from my phone and was too lazy to downscale ^^;
