So today I put my Heep up on the lift, tore my front sway bar out, it kept shearing grade 8 bolts, so I figured why the hell not, it's never hooked up anyways, also got rid of my mudflaps, they kept hanging up on everything. Going to change my diff fluid tomorrow, I kinda filled my front axle with water on my last wheelin' trip ^^; Long story short: 3.5" lift, 31" tires, 3 feet of standing water covering a good foot of mud. enough said.

Just spent 4 hours removing all the clutter and re-organizing the inside of my Heep, that was ridiculous, to say the least.
I now have a first aid kit bolted under the rear driver side window, all my recovery equipment (100ish feet of chain, a come-a-long, and kevlar rope) organized and in a box, my high-lift re-mounted to the rear hatch, a box of wire, connectors, and crimpers/strippers, fuses, and tape under the rear seat, jumper cables under the rear seat, my six-cell mag still needs mounted though. Tomorrow I go to weld my door hinge back on, the damn thing broke today

Just took my driver's side door off to weld the top hinge back on after it broke last night, I will post pics when it's done, right now it's down in the shop warming up by the fire. I'm going to reinforce it with some plate steel I had laying around, and use the leftover to make quarter panel armor.
Got the hinges reinforced, yay for good arc welders, now to get my door back on, and the rear armor trimmed to fit. Also I somehow snapped my 9 foot cb whip off at the base, so I'm pissed about that, that sets me back $25.

Went to Silverton yesterday to visit a friend, and pick up a new toy from him for one of my other projects, a 383 Stroker for my 1961 Chevy Apache 10. That was a ridiculous trip, it wasn't raining, it was a veritable waterfall from the sky. While I was there, he also hooked me up with some new 1.5" gauges, and I put a new oil gauge in, as well as did some much-needed speaker upgrading in the rear, I now have working rears again! Talk about a long night..... Ah well, at least I have good sound now, not just the one big Fischer house speaker tower I was using, and now I also have my rear hatch panel back in place, so it doesn't look as bad inside.
I will post pics of the engine once I get woke up enough to do so.

So, I've been away for a while due to some ******* stealing my Droid phone (only source of internet). As with any Jeepaholic, I've been modding more and more. I've done quite a lot, most of which will be shown in pictures once I get my new phone, I've added a snorkel, body armor, and more stickers. as well as a few minor mods.

well, no pics, but now I have a camera, so I will get some taken, I'm just about done digging up parts for my rear end swap, I'm not going to give anyone exact details, but I will say this, I'm gaining a full 5 inches overall width hub to hub.

Been a while since this thread got updated, but here we go: Need a new tailgate thanks to getting rear-ended by a fullsize bronco, burned up my CB, so I re-did everything, now I have a nice handwarmer, added a 400Watt continuous DC-AC inverter, ripped what little headliner was left out, re-did the body armor, it got tweaked on a wheeling trip, organized all the add-on under-hood wiring (read: **** YOU SPLIT LOOM).
Next up is ripping up the torn, worn, and utterly destroyed carpet inside, and replacing it with bedliner, followed by my new toys, a JL audio 12" sub and MTX amp. New interior lights are also in the works, mine have started arcing now that the headliner is gone, so they're coming out, and 4 LED strips are going in from front to back, clearance/turn lights are going on the cab, front amber, red rear, and last but not least, H4 conversion headlights!
Pics of everything will come tomorrow, as I'm too cold and tired to go back out there and take them now, after spending 4-ish hours re-working everything inside the cab as far as my CB setup.

Well, the day is finally upon me. After 332,908 miles, the amazing 4.0 I6 is due for a rebuild, I'm getting 10MPG now, and my compression numbers are far below spec, rings are shot to hell, time to do a 4.7 stroker engine for her

Went wheelin' yesterday up in the snow, ended up having to trailer my Jeep home, the D35 strikes yet another. Sheared the cross-pin for the spiders, crushed the pass. side C-clip, destroyed the carrier, and lost an axle out in the hills. Now to do the GM 12 bolt LSD swap
Pics of the destroyed carrier and gears will come tomorrow, it's too cold to go back outside tonight.

The rest of the pics.
The carrier is rather destroyed too.
Last pic is of the diff. cover, I don't know how I didn't put a hole clean through it.
