I love your XJ man. I am starting to do research for a lift now, and seeing the pictures of your's is swaying me towards 4.5 instead of 3 inches. Awesome build!

Im sitting at about 5.5"-5". I kinda dont like it cause it makes the tires look to small to me :P

trucklites are installed these things are AWESOME i wish ii had bought these from the start when i had the green jeep. low beams are great, high beams are spectacular and pull a max of like 4 amps. i will eventually swap every bulb in this jeep to LED, when ever i decide i want to deal with and electronic flasher.

also pulled the tnt cross member and re installed the stock one with a few tweeks to keep the exhaust from hitting it. i really hate that thing, the protection is great but it makes servicing anything a royal PITA. you cant access the front drive shaft/t-case linkage/ or the drain plug for the trans(unless you want to coat the whole thing in ATF

its getting sold soon and ill either buy RK 3 link/serious off road/ clayton arms leaning hard towards clayton so i can have the 3 piece cross member.

i also pulled the light bar, i never use it and it just got in my way when i was tinkering under the hood

swapped in the wj pump today, what a hell of an upgrade! either that or my old pump was just garbage. i also pulled the swing out portion of the tail bone off and cleened out the back seat

no more leak PS and it turns the the ever so slightest effort

gonna order new bushings for the track bar an b.lees off road 3 link soon

installed the exlplorer trans cooler. seems to work good. was hot almost immediately after i fired it up. i put it on the aux fan side so the hot side with the most air flowing over it its clear

still waiting on the trac bar bushing. hopefully i can get that done monday

took a 100 mile drive the other day cause i was bored and have had some bad vibes ever since, i swapped out the rear drive shaft for a JY one i picked up when i was going to do the hack n tap but it didnt really do any thing. im hoping its just the trashed TB bushing.

i also cleened the battery posts since the + had a lot of build up and i replaced the terminal since i had one handy and it was quicker than cleening the old one. Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2015-05-04-17.26.14.jpg

and i was on the roof retrieving a volley ball so i took a pic of the jeep from up there cause i can

been super busy latley with work so i havent had much time to update:

first off i got the trac bar bushing changed out. no more ugly clunk then i replace the fuse for my locks/interieor lights/ radio cause it blew

ordered jks's wj swap steering and jamb nuts, i was going to cut down the stock linkage i have laying around but i figured id buy the pre done stofe off amazon to help build my credit...and im being lazy.lol but in all seriousness im not sure if i trust my hobart to weld the linkage strong enough and i dont have accsess to a big bad *** one

and the juicy stuff:

got my 3 link installed today

the lowers are a bit to long causing me noot to be able to get my pinion angle right. i get a nasy vibe at 55 now but most my other vibes have dulled out. not completly gone tho. i expect doing the wj swap will weed out the bad seed since ill be replacing just about every thing on this axle when i do it including the u-joints and axle seals(pinion seal not included)
