Thank you for entertaining me for the past like week of reading through this thread, lol.

Nice build man. So jealous of you and your lack of rust.

Awesome build! I've read back only 10 pages or so yet, but already found lots of inspiration for my rig. Keep up the good work!

Oh by the way, do you think your doorless mirror mod thing would work on WJ door mounts?

thanks man, unfortunatly the build will probably be pretty slow from now on (trying to get my own apartment) but im hoping to build a stroker and get long arms in the spring and some little stuff here and there

alright went to the JY today and picked up some goodies

-pigtail for the thermo switch out of an 86 VW golf (can be found in other early 90s-late 80s VW's, porsche's and audis, but VW's will be more common, this was the only pigtail in the whole yard that fit) the sensor is a Beck Arnley 201-1266 Thermo Fan Switch this was the only peice i bought new, everthing i read said this was the right switch to use in jeeps

Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2014-10-07-14.56.37.jpg

-new(ish) volvo fan out of a 1996 volvo 960
so far i like this fan alot more than the 3.8 taurus fan, the shroud is alot slimmer, the fan is higher up in the shroud(less wasted fan), comes with its own bad *** fan controller, sniped plenty of wires and connectors from the volvo so not everything is hard wired

Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2014-10-07-14.57.07.jpg
comparison (other fan is one at the JY not mine)
Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2014-10-07-12.27.18.jpg

also snagged another controller as a spare
Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2014-10-07-14.57.01.jpg

i had to ebay this cause its not easy to find- inline thermoswitch housing out of a 90's saab 900, the only one i found at the JY was corroded to badly
Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-2014-10-07-17.14.57.jpg

total: 30$for the fan/controller/ and wiring, 15 for the sensor, 25 for the senor adaptor
