That's what I'm looking in to but I have to count the spline and see if it has the same bolt pattern
As long as you get a 231 out of the same year with the same engine/trans you should be fine. Youll have to change the t csse shiftee out as well

I got the same 280z hood vents, how are you gonna mount them? I have several ideas just can't pick one. Since the studs would keep them from sitting flush. I was thinking of filing down the back and open up the rest of the vents then just drilling holes threw and use a few nuts and bolts.

Yea I'm gonna cut the studs off an cut the hood so that the vents sit flush against the hood. Then drill out some hole and either pop rivet them in or get some fancy macine screws. Gonna open up the passenger side one to since its so closed off

and i just picked up these

from Harbor freight and drilled holes to fasten them to the hood. and i would not suggest opening up the passenger-side vent because the rain gets in and i just had to replace my TPS due to the rain shorting it out and the passenger-side one is right above the distributor.

Got one of my hood vents installed today and replaced the grommets for my sway bar disco studs. One was super rotted and the other tore and fell off some time a go and cause some nasty clunking.

I may go to the jy tommorow for a new zj plug and door check arms. I cut the wires too short for the way I have to route the plug now...oops lol.

I think I may pick up a HP d30 soon to build up a bit in my spare time. I can't afford to have the xj down to long I driv e to far to work lol

Any who the plans for that are

-95+ HP d30 housing
-WJ knuckle swap
- 4.56s
-chomolys
-custom heim steering
-durango master cylinder for larger brakes
-lokka locker
- timken hubs
-new ball joints (xj upper/wj lower).

Probly won't go in for a long time just some thing I've been thinking about

I've got most of that stuff witting in my garage...

Already have the D30 locked with chromos.

I have the knuckles i already drilled out to 5/8, hubs, teves calipers and pads, and i redrilled the WJ rotors. That was a *****, if you drill them out to fit a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, trace an old rotor. Dont press the studs out of an old hub and do it that way... some of my holes are a little big. They fit the studs tight and the rotors are hub centric so it should be ok.

I just need the lower ball joints and steering/ track bar parts.

Right on lol I read that for explorer sport-trac rotors are the same size but a 5x4.5 bolt pattern

I looked at the vamco kit for about 5 minutes untill I saw the 1000 $ price tag lol. I could get almost everything from the jy I need for a couple hundred

I also need to get a lot better at welding before I weld on a new track bar mount lol
