Project Revival of The 98 Xj
have a 94 cherokee 2 door with 250xxx miles on her. I bought her a year ago stock. In that time i have done a long list of things, all myself. I have rebuilt the top half of the motor(head gasket and all that), replaced the radiator, many other small things to the motor, new starter, new alternator, put in a intake, i have added bedliner sides, roof rack, custom light set up in the rear cargo area to light up the trail behind me, i added a roof rack, put a new bumper, trimmed the fenders, put a new exhaust on it, i started with a 3 inch lift front and back, got inchitis and got rc 6.5 coils and added a skyjacker .5 puck, i put the rc 6-8 inch adjustable control arms upper and lower, put rcs adjustable trackbar on, and then put rcs steering stablizer and rcs disconnects, and then i put 3 inch crappy blocks under it and made a custom 8 leaf pack and homemade 2.5 shackles and it sat around 8 inches in the back. I added some 31x10.50s to it, i like small tires, allow for great flex. I put in a PORC slip yoke eliminator , and a front ds in the back. Im sure theres a lot more ive done.
NOW, comes the real test. My trannys blown, my girlfriends pregnant, i have a 2 door, not very friendly. I have come across a white 98 4 door cherokee shell with a tranny, transfer case in it, thats it. I will be putting all my lift components under it, and both my axles. I will be putting my motor in it, it needs carpet on the passenger side floor area. Rear bumper plastic end is need and rear rocker panel plastic guard. The Drivers side door is also detented. So this is going to be a project.
Pics Will be added as progress is made

it would be a lot easier on you if you kept all the electonic components the same. makes it more plug and play so to speak. otherwise you would have to do a ton of cutting and splicing to make things work. plus the 98 would be obd2 and the 94 is obd1 and i dont know if you could mix and match the two
