Today i went to the junkyard and picked up a new power steering bracket bc they changed from a 94 to 98 and i got a air compressor from a 98 bc they have different hook ups
i wired some more things up too

ok so some backwards progress today i was looking over the serpentine belt and noticed part of the timing cover was pushed up against the belt. I had to switch the power steering pump over to the new style with the idler pulley attached to the bracket so now i have to take the timing chain cover off the 98 motors and switch them, i took it off and then was working on tearing apart my motor...again and ran into a problem, there is limited room to take the crankshaft pulley off with the motor in the jeep
Also pics of the 4th layer of paint and starting to put the interior back in
Btw anyone ever wanting to put an older motor into a newer chassis make sure you stay in certain year ranges or itll be a PITA as this is starting to prove

Today i tore the timing chain cover off and put the new one on, the 94 differed from the 98, they have different setups and the 94 had a section that was rubbing on the belt.
Also flexed some more today afterwards
got 30 inches off the ground without lifting it
i think i need to grind the front shock mounts back farther from the control arms
also i have no front bumpstops, no need to have them
pictures of the transfer case too...painted and sye
