I bought my XJ for 7K with 150k miles on it, with everything you see pictured. Loved it, but it's a jeep I had to put it to work. Preformed great in the mud and decent on trails. Sadly enough, I totaled Rambo after 10 days and due to error with insurance I did not have collision insurance. Well I didn't want to S*** 7k down the drain that fast so I figured why not buy another Jeep and transfer everything over. Luckily enough I was able to find a 2000 Cherokee Sport same year, same model, PERFECT.

Right after purchase!

Taking off the brush guard and torching the frame

So far we've pulled both engines, dropped the good engine in (Cranked up first try ) transferred roof rack, rear fender flares, receiver, subs, external lighting ect.

Currently I'm transferring over suspension components and doing other mis. things. I'll keep y'all posted and upload some more pictures of the progress tomorrow.

I'm new to this forum and would love to network and absorb as much info as I can. I've got open ear's and I'm willing to listen! Thanks!

Also, something unique about this build is that I am reusing pretty much everything. The brush guard took all the impact from the accident, but for most part the bulk of the brush guard is fine. I made new links for it and fits like a glove! The winch was not operating after the wreck, BUT after I tore it down I found out the power wire was almost cut in half. Pretty much everything is being transferred, the things I had to buy were the light pods, 52" light bar, D Rings, radiator, fluids, headlight housings, and paint. Which isn't too bad if you ask me. Love to hear what y'all think! Thanks!

Bummer about Jeep 1. Congrats on Jeep 2, and being able to salvage the goodies from 1. That's quite an engine puller!! Is that your garage or a shop?

I wish that was mine!! I have a friend who's father is an Engineering professor at Georgia Tech, and thankfully loves mechanics and helping others out. He's not charging anything and me and his son are working on it. He has a 5 bay home garage and 4 are a shop.

Was taking a left turn onto a busy highway simply didn't see the car to my left and as I was pulling out he hit the brush guard, spun me around 3 times, and luckily enough I didn't flip!!
