Default Project the cheap full width

Well heres the starter list and back story.
my dad brother and I all have xj jeeps. my brother also has a mj. needless to say we have also stripped one crashed xj for spare parts and we have a stash built up also.
At the begining of summer a freind of mine decide to buy a wrecked xj and swap parts over to a good chasis. well he stripped them down to combine them. but he lost his shop space and decided to buy a wrongler. he took the 4.0 ho trans and t case and put it in the wrongler.
I started asking about the xjs last week and he gave me the chance to buy everything but the drive train from them IE engine trans tcase and axles for $400.
so ive decide to go for it and build a cheap xj lol

heres what i will be buying from him;

95 xj 4 door chasis wrecked (will be scrapped)
89 xj 4 door chasis all rust has been repaired
two sets of doors
one hatch
1.5 sets of interors
two set of fenders
two engine hoods
front grill
ho radiator
set of alloy wheels (going on my brothers mj)
gas tank
two full sets of windows
two brake booster
two sets of springs and coils.
two sets of rear lights

heres what we have sitting for parts at my dads and brother;

HP dana 44 cast radius arms 3.55 ratio
ford 9" 3.55 ratio
two HP dana 30 3.07 ratio
one dana 35 3.07 ratio
ho wiring harness
non ho harness
4.0 non ho engine
aw4
231j t-case
three sets of wheels 5x4.5
one set of wheels for the ford axles
zj v8 front springs
s10 leaf pack
four ax15 front drivelines
two aw4 front drivelines
one ax15 8.25 rear driveline
one aw4 dana 35 rear driveline
two non ho radiators
theres more but list would be to long.

my plan is to use the bronco axles on the v8 springs and custom pack in the back. notch the rear of the four door trim the rear alot tub it. do a exo/indo cage. fab a radius arm style front. remove front fenders and fab customs. I would like to be running 37s on it not looking to go fast any where more a crawl rig that my gf can learn how to wheel with.I got my jeep to rally with.

I will be teaching my GF how to weld and build a rig that way she knows the pasion that goes into these.

heres are my questions
I can get a ford 360 engeine, manual trans and t-case for around $300 should i run that instead of the non ho 4.0?
if i welded the front and rear axles to begin with until i can afford gears and lockers what issue will i have?

any suggestions and ideas are welcome.
