Lol, I'll probably wire up the harness tonight before I leave work and throw in the bulbs and housings in the morning. My GF is trying to supervise my packing. She knows if she leaves it up to me I'll pack 6 fly rods and a bathing suit
Lol

*Sigh*
Order today, receive tomorrow, junkyards, Plastic dip(What is that, anyway, peelable paint? Seriously??), access to all kinds of cool parts......

I'm jealous.

I think I'm gonna give up being surrounded by beautiful babes and move back to the states.

Looking at all this available stuff makes me depressed..

PlastiDip is actually liquid rubber. It was originally designed to dip the handles or tools in like pliers to make comfortable grips. They later thinned it so it could be sprayed on. I'm actually leaving for DR Thursday morning, If I knew earlier I would have brought you any small parts you needed.

Cool. Where are you headed in the DR?

The only thing I really need at the moment are the threaded tie downs on the roof rack.

These little puppies:

If you've got any laying around, I could sure use some.

When I googled trying to find out what threaded tie downs on a roof rack were (no joy), I did come across these (which might be of interest): Rack Ties (there's a video of 'em and how they work when you click the link).

...I "do knots" lol, so I generally don't have tie-down issues (though I'm always open to a better way). But that seemed pretty quick & clever to me.

Tons of parts piled up to get onto the XJ and I got nothing accomplished. Well, not exactly nothing. I wheeled her all day

They're only easy if I actually get off my lazy *** and do them. Been preoccupied getting ready for fishing season, been slackin on the XJ. You going to Rausch this weekend?

Negative. On the saving end right now. Between repairs and a wedding it kills wheeling

I'm hoping to have just this one.

That spot looks fun. I haven't made it out there yet. I want to rebuild driveshaft and do rear disks before I go crazy again. My DC joint is going. bought to just remove front ds temporarily but dont want to lose 4wd just in case
