I already spoke to them, they seem very willing to help and they have a 2 year warranty on their springs. I just emailed them pics.

Yeah, they had have a great deal on the Hobart's.

(I almost bought one there actually - Hobart is a good welder - but a guy in Stockton had a 180 amp Miller with bottle & killer leads for $400 - !!! - that I grabbed before leaving California.)

...of course, right now we're still renting, and we don't have 220V in the garage, so I really miss my little 110V Lincoln 132+ (that I sold to fund the Miller) ...the Miller was a huge upgrade, but until we get a house again, its status is useless-dust-collector-on-cart-with-mere-potential.

The Hobart I'm looking at is a 210A on 220V but it will also run to 140A on 110v. So I get the best of both worlds, except it's $900

Jeezus. I didn't even know they made anything like that (which I s'pose dates me lol). That would have been at the very top of my list though.

...I've kind of being keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a 110V on C/L. Hmm. I may rethink this.

THANKS! for the heads up (reading about the Hobart 210MVP now: sweet ...very sweet ...ooh, PDF manual too).

...I wonder if I could get 600-700 for my Miller?

Most shops don't care about dual input because they have 220 in the shop. You should be able to get good money for the Miller. That 210MVP looks like a sweet welder for guys like use.

Its been added to my short-list, the manual downloaded, and the link added to my Favorites list. Now I just need to get the Miller on C/L and see what's what. And wait for a decent discount coupon from Northern Tools (or whatever). Thanks again for the heads-up: this one's a keeper.

Well with the broken leaf added to the list I figured I better make room on the to-do list. First up was the H4 headlight conversion. It went in in about 1.5 hours. I read that some guys pulled the header panel, after checking it out I decided it wasn't necessary. Because of the way my front bumper is setup I was able to pull all the wires down, then feed them up behind the right headlight and through the hole it the radiator support. Those guys with stock front bumpers don't have that kind of access, you will prob want to pull the header panel.

Looking from the engine bay, this is the hole in the rad support. All plugs fit through it.

:bravo: its coming along nice. Something I've noticed with my jeep. As you fix one item, the next one breaks fast.

me too, but I can't complain. I don't exactly treat it nicely, it's 13 years old and I thrash it regularly.

I was talking to a Jeep tech about upgrading my alternator and he told me to order a build sheet because he believed 00 Limiteds came with a larger alternator. I'll be damned, he was right, 124Amp. saved me a few bucks and some work, I'll have to buy him a beer.
