So I recently bought HD Engineering Shackle Relocation Brackets (Version 2). I had Version 1's but sold them because I needed that cash and never had time to install them. Now they are even easier since they are 100% Bolt on and BEEF. These are for the XJ Cherokee's. They help move your shackle downward for better flex and a better shackle angle if you are suffering from one. I had a vertical shackle angle with my 6.5" Rough Country lift which sucks. These brackets allowed me to turn it into a 45 degree angle which rides so much better.

And after ( I gained about an inch in the rear):

A full install write-up (and a lot of pics) can be found here as well as many other places:

FINALLY!!!!
I finally found some tan leather ZJ seats for my xj. my seats are all sorts of broke and crappy. I have been wanting to replace them for a while and debating shelling out to much money for seats. Then the moons aligned and I found some close, in good shape and at a good price in TAN. Should be picking them up Sunday as long as the guy doesn't bail.

Thanks. My hood vents are Pontiac GTX hood vents. And that picture is not of me. OverlandXJ took that shot of his stuff. Wish it was my jeep. Haven't made it out East to much yet. I tend to venture west more often.

So awhile back my drivers seat decided to break. I have been debating about just getting some real nice front seats but it was really hard for me to spend the money on seats. I had no luck on the forums either because I didn't want to go with stock crappy uncomfy seats. I have been searching for ZJ tan/spice leather seats or leather out of an Orvis edition and haven't had any good luck at all. I could find charcoal all day but I wanted the color to be closer to matching. I figured I would give craigslist one more go before pulling the trigger. I lucked out and found one COMPLETE seat in WI. It was a set of ZJ tan/spice seats in great shape. There is some cracking on the drivers seat but no rips, stains, ect. I am hoping to get them in the week if work isn't terrible.

with my rough country lift, the shackle stood straight up vertical. Dont know why rough country doesnt change that. But now that I did HD's bracket kit, I can actually feel my suspension working in the back haha. So yes, it is a lot nicer. Now I just need to get nicer shocks
