Thanks.

Not to sure how much everything has cost me. Been building it for years. I usually always buy stuff during a deal or used.

So after I had a crazy day at work where nothing was going right for me, I felt that I shouldn't waste the night and try and get something accomplished. So I began on installing my new ZJ leather seats. They are really easy to install on 95+ Jeep Cherokee's. If you want to use your jeep cherokee base, just unbolt the seats and the ZJ seats are a direct bolt in. The only thing I have to do is figure out a way to install the power option on the seats I have. I know I am going to need help on that one. Luckily the seats were already set in a good position for now.

Before:

After:

Let me tell you, what a comfortability difference. They feel great. I plan on getting seat covers. I knew the seats dont match perfect. In the pics online for sale they looked a lot closer, but they are still hard enough for me to come by so I'll make due. I still have to do the rear seats and for that I'll do a complete write up. I can wait to have a split rear seat to fold down. That will be real nice.

Then I also decided to finally install a gear box in back. I picked it up about a month or so ago for a good deal. I knew it wasn't 100% made for the XJ but I knew it would do the job. Got that installed. Now I wont have to strap down a tool box that doesn't hold the fluids like I want anyway. This box also locks!

Thanks! I don't think a 12.5 wide would fit though. Mine is a 10.5 and it fits great.

ZJ seats look great!

I've never looked into doing that switch, but do the rear ZJ seats install into the XJ as well?

What exactly was the intention with that statement?

I made a comment on how great Jake's seats turned out, then followed with a question about the modification to show interest in the work. As stated, I have not looked into the ZJ seat upgrade, nor do I intend to.

Sorry for mucking up your thread, Jake.

Its no problem guys. Thanks for all the comments.

As to the question on the rear seats. They do fit, they just need some modification to make them fit nice. I believe someone or a few have real nice write-ups on here about it. I plan on doing one as well.
