So I've had these KC lights laying around and was gonna wait until i got a new front bumper to mount them. I found Detour's A pillar mounts and was telling my boyfriend about them. Long story short i figured out that's what he's getting me for my upcoming birthday
. So i got to work on getting the wiring part done. I could've done a lot better on this, but its not like I'm wire tucking or anything. So here is a few pics of the wires and switch.

I'll post again when the mounts get here. In meantime I'm getting the fenders, grille, and header panel back on from undercoating the inner fenders.

I've been trying to wake up a little earlier in the mornings so i can get things done before my daughter wakes up. I woke up at 6:30 (ugh lol) and after Tim left for work i got started on putting the Jeep back together. I had to put on the driver's side fender, header panel etc. The header panel threw me for a loop, but little ole me finally got it. Lol. I plastidipped my grille and headlight bezels black. This green is kinda dark, so it hard to really even tell :/ oh well. On to the pics!

So an update, yay! Lol
After trying and trying to find some cheap insurance and nearly getting pulled over with dead tags and no insurance O.O (we got lucky, like super lucky). We managed to find cheap insurance and got the Jeep legal finally yesterday! Now i can finally go wheeling somewhere, maybe. Not sure if places here close for the winter.
My boyfriend didn't get to order the mounts until late September, no biggie. They got here today though, yay again!
Since they came primered and i had some flat black paint laying around...they're now painted.
Sorry for the same 3 pics posting stupid app kept crashing on me.
I will be installing this weekend hopefully since Tim is now daily driving my Jeep. (His car is being put up for the season, unless it sells or gets traded...)
Stay tuned!

Well they send the mounts primered and with four long bolts, 4 nuts, 4 washer, and 4 button heads. To sum it up:
You mark where you need to drill using a 1/4" drill bit and drill through your A pillar from the outside. Depending on how you drill it, you may or may not have to cut a tiny bit of the bolt off. No biggie. And then throw everything together. Very easy install. And they are super bright! Need to get pics of them on.
